Produced by Cloverdale artist and teacher Paula Gilbert, “Chanting for Healing and Prayer,” is a collaborative musical effort featuring talented local artists and musicians, with proceeds benefiting global unity causes including Oxfarm, RAWA, Twin Tower Orphan Fund, Global Exchange and Food Not Bombs.
“It was a great healing adventure to all sing together,” recalled Paula. “I remember it was pouring rain outside…it was like the skies were raining all the tears and grief we felt for the victoms of the 9/11 attack.”

The Hare Krishna chant was recorded in April of 2002 with six Krishna devotees, Nakula das, Gadadhara das, Lokanatha das, Vishwambhara Towle, Jim Seymour and Radha Towle. They were joined by Pat Gear, Paula Glibert, Rick Gilbert, Tory Rotlisberger, Crystal Sanchez, and Mal & Elise Tornay.
Hansadutta spent time with The Beatles in the 60′s, when they were in India learning about Krishna. “After each session (even at the recording studio), they all ate a wonderful vegetarian dinner prepared by Hansadutta and the devotees,” says Paula
