War has begun and the peace movement it becoming very powerful throughout the world. On February 27, th 2003 in San Francisco there were 200,000 people attending the peace parade, despite the media’s misinterpretations. New York turned out at 300,000-500,000 people and a total throughout the world of nearly 4 million people–with nearly a million in Italy! This parade clogged the subway system for hours and a sea of people flooded Market Street in San Francisco for 12 solid city blocks.
The peace activist’s collected nearly $80,000 in that one day alone. Now is the time to distribute the peace formula and Srila Prabhupada’s books. Srila Prabhupada has a solution for this society and he wants you to distribute his books!
The Hare Krishna Youth is offering a free box of books to any who signs up to push His books out there. UC Berkeley had its first massive protest, shutting down Sproul Hall. One thousand people were arrested in San Francisco on March 20th. On February 27th the HKY distributed over 1000 copies of the peace formula. Now is the time to move Lord Chaitanya’s troops into the streets!
