Archana Siddhi Devi Dasi is a disciple of Srila Prabhupada. She has a B.S. in psychology and a master's in clinical social work. She joined the Hare Krishna movement in 1976 while in graduate school. She lived and served at the Potomac, Maryland, temple for twelve years. Her main service was book distribution.
After moving out of the temple, she finished her master's degree and worked in a mental health clinic for fourteen years, counseling both children and adults and specializing in family and couple's therapy. She is currently living in Prabhupada Village, North Carolina, with her husband. She is working in private practice, doing individual, couples, and family counseling.
She and her husband are members of ISKCON's Grihastha Vision Team. She has written and delivered a number of seminars on personal growth to enhance devotees' spiritual progress. She and her husband are currently [November 2011] finishing a book titled When Bad Is Good: Finding the Gems in Misfortune. She is a frequent contributor to Back to Godhead magazine.
